SSX Synchronous Multiplayer Mode Revealed

After the development team dropped 45 puzzle pieces, the SSX community pieced together what appears to be screenshots of a synchronous competitive multiplayer mode. What does that mean exactly you ask? Synchronous means ‘Existing or occurring at the same time’ which is the setting for most multiplayer experiences but, SSX was an outlier which pinned “Ridernet” (a leaderboard, ghost and reccomendation system similar to NFS: Hot Pursuit’s “Autolog”) as it’s primary multiplayer mode.

SSX did not (and still does not at the time of writing) have traditional head-to-head multiplayer where you could race/out-trick/survive longer than your friends in real-time, and see them on the track. From the screenshots featured below, it looks like SSX will finally be getting this feature in the near future (being a feature of a DLC pack is good bet).

Will you be jumping back into SSX once this feature hits? Let us know in the comments!
