Bulletstorm Demo Coming Jan. 25
EA have decided to “kick-start” the year with a free demo for Bulletstorm which will be arriving on both the Playstation Network and the Xbox Live Marketplace. It looks like the demo will be focused on Bulletstorm’s “Echo mode” in which players compete against each other for the highest score for “bragging rights” in each level of the game.
Other things that have been confirmed to be included in the demo include:
- “more than 45 skillshots”
- Several weapons including the Peace Maker Carbine, Flail Gun and Screamer.
- Friend Leaderboards
- the ability to “to unlock platform-specific upgrades* to use in the game’s Anarchy mode, from the Crimson Leash to Stealth Armor, when they purchase the full game.”
I’m really looking forward to Bulletstorm, from what I have seen I think that the combat is a good change from the usual headshot shooting gallery that we tend to see in almost every first person shooter. Once again, you will be able to play it for yourself on the 25th of Janaury (26th for Playstation Network users in Europe) on either your Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. The full retail version of Bulletstorm is set for release on on Feb. 22, 2011 in North America and Feb. 25, 2011 in Europe.
Has Bulletstorm piped your interest enough to give the demo a go later this month?
